Upgrades and Bridging Courses
We are proud to be able to offer upgrade or bridging courses in aromatherapy, massage, reflexology and reiki to help people who have trained many years ago, trained on courses where the school no longer exists or trained abroad, to help you prove that you are working at current UK national standards. This is ideal if you want to also be CNHC Registered but your current qualifications are not mapped to the current core curricula.
Aromatherapy Bridging Course
This course has been specifically designed to help aromatherapists who graduated prior to 2008 bring their aromatherapy qualification up to the current industry recognised standard. It can be used to gain membership of CHP if your studies were not at the recognised standard or where there has been a gap in your practice too. It can help also you if you want to register with the CNHC.
It covers current legislation relating to professional practice of aromatherapy as well as support with taking the case. You will also receive two booklets with up to date information on the use of essential oils in practice.
You will need to complete course work to prove competency along with case studies and you will need to have a practical assessment (which can be done via video call where necessary). All of the theory work is done via our online e-learning system, fully supported by a personal tutor and our online virtual learning environment, which is packed with excellent resources to help you.

Reflexology Bridging Course
This course has been specifically designed to help reflexologists bring their reflexology qualification up to the current industry recognised standard if they studied a short or unrecognised course or maybe trained a very long time ago. It can also be used to update skills if you have not practised for a while. Furthermore, it can be used to gain membership of CHP if your studies are not at the recognised standard, you studied overseas or where there has been a gap in your practice too. It can help you if you want to register with the CNHC as we will ensure you are in-line with the current CNHC Core Curriculum for Reflexology.
It covers current legislation relating to professional practice of reflexology as well as support with taking the case. You will need to complete some course work to prove competency along with case studies but you will not need to take any exams except for a practical assessment. You will need to arrange with us to meet up with one of our reflexology tutors who can assess your current knowledge and help you gain confidence in your reflexology practice.

Massage Bridging Course
This course has been specifically designed to help massage therapists bring their qualification up to the current industry recognised standard if they studied a short or unrecognised course or maybe trained many years ago. It can also be used to update skills if you have not practised for a while. Furthermore, it can be used to gain membership of CHP if your studies are not at the recognised standard, you studied overseas or where there has been a gap in your practice too. It can help you if you want to register with the CNHC as we will ensure you are in-line with the current CNHC Core Curriculum for Massage Therapy.
We will look at your individual case and advise accordingly.

It may be that you need to go and participate in some training at one of the CHP schools and if so, Carole can advise you on what is available around the UK. Otherwise, you may gain free access to some of our online modules to help you complete the coursework needed to evidence competency as current standards. Coursework will include case studies and a practical assessment, which can be conducted online via video call where necessary.
Reiki Bridging Course
This course has been specifically designed to help reiki practitioners to bring their reiki qualification up to the current industry recognised standard as set in the CNHC Core Curriculum and by the Reiki Council, who we are members of. It is ideal if you studied a short or unrecognised course that did not include certain elements of the required training that included business or professional practice studies or maybe trained a very long time ago and haven't practised in a while. It can be used to gain membership of CHP and/or it can help you if you want to register with the CNHC.
It covers current legislation relating to professional and business practice of reiki as well as support with taking the case. You will need to complete some course work to prove competency along with case studies and you will need to take the exam set by the Reiki Council. It will include case studies and an online assessment plus an in person attunement if your course did not cover that (extra cost may be incurred than that stated below). If you have already studied professional and business practice modules through another therapy, we can look to give you accreditation of prior learning for that element.
